Attorney-at-Law
BIO
Cody Long is a fourth-generation Idaho native who graduated from Boise High School, Boise State University, and Rutgers School of Law, where he served as the managing editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. He has represented clients in Idaho since 2005.
Cody Long represents people charged with DUI in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, and throughout southwest Idaho. His practice focuses on helping clients understand the process, evaluate the evidence, and make informed decisions when their license, record, and future are at risk.
DUI cases often involve more than the arrest itself. A meaningful defense may require analyzing the legality of the stop, field sobriety testing, breath testing, blood testing, police procedure, constitutional protections, and the practical realities of the local court system. Cody approaches these cases with preparation, attention to detail, and a commitment to giving clients clear advice about the best path forward. Whether that means challenging the evidence aggressively, negotiating strategically, or preparing a case for hearing or trial, Cody takes his responsibility seriously and works to give each client thoughtful, effective representation.
